IKEA often hosts a lot of great free things to do for you and your family and the store has wonderful offerings to make your home sleek and chic without a huge bill! I am so pleased to announce that my daughter and I will be part of The IKEA FAMILY VIP Party on Friday August 9, 2013 from 6-8PM.

I’d love to meet you, as I talk to so many of you on a daily basis and the event is a great way to get out and have some great family time. This event is FREE for IKEA FAMILY members and, as you know, IKEA FAMILY is free to sign up for and people can sign up at the event if they are not already a member!

Join us on Friday August 9th for a sneak peak at the 2014 IKEA Catalog.
This year’s catalog is all about living with children, so bring the kids with you for some fun activities with some of Pittsburgh’s favorite bloggers! There will also be hors d’oeuvres, prizes and give-aways!

Rainy Day Crafts: Hosted by Dana Vento the Pittsburgh Frugal Mom in the Learning Kitchen in the Kitchen’s department on the 2nd floor
Cookie Decorating: Hosted by Kallie Vento the Pittsburgh Frugal Big Sister in the Kitchens department on the 2nd floor
Interactive Play Date: Hosted by Natalie Lesnefsky, the Busy Budgeting Mama in the Living Rooms Department of the showroom on the 2nd floor
Planning a play space within your adult space: Hosted by IKEA interior designer Rachel in the Children’s Department on the 2nd floor.
Attend each activity and receive a “punch” on your card. When all of your punches are filled in you can put your card in to win one of our fun prize packs!
Prize drawing at 8pm at the exit of the store, must be present to win.
