As if the bed was not enough to spoil her highness Bella, we have been provided an insert for the bed. The cushion is 12″ in diameter and 2″ thick. The purpose of this is a) to create even more warmth, softness of fleeciness lovin’! As your kitty gets older, their bodies get arthritis(I think they get tired bones from jumping everywhere), and this will let them rest their weary bones in comfort. The cushion is like a pillow that fits perfectly in the bed.
We have been using this as a separate cushion to let her sit in front of the window while she basks in the sun or under her little bottom when she sits and eats to keep her bottom cold-free, after all she is our princess! Sometimes it is in her homemade apartment, it just depends on the day. The color is camel and it matches the fleece of the bed.
