Wait till you see why I am telling you this. You also need to make a decision if you are going to be drinking your breakfast or eating your brunch. LOL!

My Discovery
Order a drink or… experience what else I uncovered. Do you see that table with the lemons sticking atop? We are going to wander over there because I have to share a huge find. This is like a Vegas bargain when it comes to alcohol and ambiance. Are you ready?
Seriously I can not wait to share what I know with you. Ask for one of these tables if you can and if you are eating here or DRINKING here. You want to be closest to this area for the beverages. Also a small note. If you look outside in the hall area, you will see lots of people lined up. Want to know why? Carlos Bakery is there. The line NEVER stopped the whole time we were there. It gets longer and longer. It’s that good!
Find Your Bottomless Bloody Mary’s Here~
But this is not just bloody mary’s, there’s more! Sangria, mimosa, bellini, a selection of domestic beers and wine. It’s just $14.95 for all you can drink and when in Vegas we drink, right? Now if you want to make your own bloody mary or casear and have unlimited refills, you also get a souvenir glass, it’s just $16.95! A memory glass, and drinks, I say, ‘Sip, Sip, Hooray!’
Look at all the ingredients, where will you start, what will you choose? I love Bloody Mary’s but a Caesar would be new to me. Then again, endless Mimosas without the need to get up and create something may be better. Mimosas are really the perfect breakfast drink, or are bellinis? I believe no matter what I choose, it all will turn out perfect!
Pass me a glass please, fill me up and let the Buddy V party begin. I see jalapenos, lemons, celery, and lime. I think I need a recipe card or maybe I should just use my phone to Google best Bloody Mary.
What would you put in your Bloody Mary, looking at the options just confuses me, but truly makes me want to just build a drink now? Perhaps I should just drink my brunch and munch on celery? That is always a good option, it’s a party day.
This is like a secret buffet in the buffet and they drinks are unlimited, bottomless (my term) and you get to keep your glass all for one super great price (ask within!) What a perfect way to compliment your breakfast, or of course, you are in Vegas and could slurp through Brunch? I am sure that is a great idea.
After all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Surely this is tempting. There are so many options, it is kind of like endless options. Do you see the pearl onions? All I can think about are martinis and pearl onions. What is the matter with this, I think I have alcohol of the brain fog right now. Just kidding.
Look for this table. It is one way to get up to the bar area. It is closer to the windows, not the entrance. If you go up those steps you are headed towards the Bloody Mary Buffet and that is where you want to be.
Perhaps you could request to sit in the area as well, this way you can fill up often and with ease, rather than walking through the restaurant each time. There are seats up there so be sure to ask. Did you see the seating at the top image? Check again, there are high top table and other seats, as well as the bar area. Any of those keep you close to the bottomless refills with very few steps involved!
ANTIPASTI
How better to start of an Italian meal than with Antipasti. I dream of olives in my sleep (they are really good). Now for those of you that are carnivorous loving kind of people, this Antipasti will have you drooling, long after you were gone.
What my husband loved best is that someone who cut the meat, actually knew to slice it thin. A good antipasto is not about thick meat, rather a thin sliver, for best tasting. You can see the quality of the cut here.
As the Italians do, served up perfectly traditional meet the Antipasto display of mouth-watering starters. The salad was hands-down the best. Of course, the pasta next to it was yummy too. My best suggestion is to take a few small servings of everything, then go back.
Yes I do think you could make a meal just on this station but you want to get through all the food stations to really experience this brunch!
Caesar Salad above or below Shrimp!
Fresh mixed green salad with shaved parmesan (Panzanella salad), bowls of iced peel and eat shrimp (ummmmm), prosciutto (salumi board), olives salad, and more, what will you try? The shrimp were succulent and fresh. Every last bite. The salad offered a nice crunch, which translates to — it’s fresh. The food was refreshed over and over and the food was eaten too!
Again, my personal suggestion, a little bit of everything or 2 separate plates. Don’t mix flavors or appetizers that is just bad. Instead, let each one offer you a trip to Italy as you bite into it. That is what I do. There is no shame in taking a few small plates, instead, it is a smart strategy.
No matter what you choose it is a tasteful delight, waiting for you to discover and take the culinary tasting plunge. DO you feel like you should be grabbing this food through the screen? I am with you on that. It is so good and meant to be savored.
Look, stare, and make reservations if you are headed out to Vegas. You do not want to miss the opportunity to dine here for brunch. From food to ambiance, this is a Vegas tradition officially for my husband and me. How about you?
The Salad Is Where It’s At. Panzanella.
I mean we all know I am a Veggie queen, but ‘OohPaLa, Bada Bing Bada Boom!’ Home run! I loved the shave Parmesan, however, the salad was just so fresh and crisp, which is not the story everywhere I go.
My preference for salad is a good crunch against the parmesan and this bowl is what you want to seek out if you are the same. Heck, I was tempted to take the bowl to my seat.
Spicy Italian Sausage
IF you are a heat weasel, you can still try this. Just get a smaller portion. You are not going to get sweats on your forehead, but it will have a nice little kick to it. My husband does not like hot foods, or really spicy but he did love this.
What else is on this buffet for you carnivores? Maple Glazed Ham, Smoked Applewood Slab Bacon, and chicken apple sausage. Everything needs to be tasted, that’s how Italian’s do it, a bit of everything.
Head on over to the carving station really. Don’t miss the chance to try these meats. It is part of the meal and really for anyone who loves meats, if you miss this, you kind of missed out on bruch. IMO.
Do you see the buffet below? Each pan and serving dish has a main course in it. You have to pace yourself in order to try it all. If you are a pro-buffet person you already know this. Enjoy!
Don’t stop there, head on over to the main buffet, see the food prepared.
Pick up a Meatball
or Panettone French Toast
Mac and cheese (not your momma’s trust me, better!)
Perhaps Orchiette and greens (broccoli rabe)
Keep moving there are more and people behind you who want what is on YOUR plate.
My Pasta Confession ‘
Oh, my pasta dishes. I was not leaving Buddy V’s without a dish of pasta, and I ordered it, and YOU need to as well. Holy Pasta-gasm, yum. Maybe the best I have had out, hands-down. Al Dente, twirl-tastic (other than I had to ask for a spoon, come on we Italians need our pasta and spoons!)
Fruits too
Don’t forget the ‘kids table’ that offers pizza – Yeah I took some!
The Sweet Table
I personally think we should call this the Italian Vacation Calorie table. Where all the calories can’t and won’t count until you hit the scale and swear at the cannolis you ate. Just kidding. Do it, because with a sweet table like this, you are in hell if you don’t try heaven!
On the table, you will find: fruit platters, cannoli, tiramisu, zeppole, Italian cookie platter, banana bundt cake, coffee cake, bread pudding, biscotti, Nutella brownie, and assorted candy!
Holy Cannoli
Tiramisu
Or maybe it’s cookies for you too?
What is everybody else doing while you are grabbing Italian confections? Let’s look. Eating!
Your culinary adventure begins the moment you take your plate and make your brunch reservation at Buddy V’s in Vegas! Walk around, check out all the food, then take a plate. Once you decide on a station, eat until you can eat no more at that station.
Walk to the next, load up, little sections of your plate. Do not let foods mix (I hate that personally) and try a bit of everything. If you drank your way through brunch head over to Carlo’s Bakery and get some sweets, those cravings are coming next!
Enjoy your time in Vegas. Eat, Drink and Be Merry. It’s your special time.~The Traveled Foodie..Dana XO My time at Buddy V’s Restaurant was provided but honestly, opinions and images are my own based on my experience. You totally need to stop here, dine here and experience the culinary bliss that is awaiting you bite by bite!
