Motherhood has taught me to be more giving than ever. I remember growing up, I would rather get than give, but as I have matured, I have learned that giving makes life better. As a mom, giving an abundance of love and support are just 2 key components of giving.
Every day of life is a memory waiting to be made and I love smiling kids. Smiles come out of nowhere and out of love for things so I shower them with love and my secret no-bake recipe for one of my favorite treats.
My belief is that the best recipes are simple and fast and that is what I stick with every time I create a food and share it with you. Your family will love these easy 3 ingredient no bake cereal bars and you won’t believe how fast they come together. Lavishly live food out loud and create my easy 3 ingredient no bake cereal bars!
Easy 3 Ingredient Cereal Bars
I love smiles and I love creating happy moments. For me, opening a box of Cheerios is the time that I get to give happiness when I use my simple recipe to create easy 3 ingredient cereal bars and then in return I get smiles from my kids.
Easy is good because to me the less ingredients the better the snack. When I create this recipe the kids can’t wait till the bars set up to be the first in the pan. Happiness happens and that makes me happy. Here’s my in-house famed recipe I hope it brings smiles and memories to your home as well.
Watch How To Make This Recipe
3 Tbsp of Butter (sliced 1 Tbsp each)
5 C of Cheerios (any flavor)
1 10 oz bag of marshmallows ( I used colored ones to make it more eye-pleasing)
1 Baking Pan (13″ x 9″)
1 Large Mixing Bowl
Prepare baking pan by misting it lightly with cooking spray.
In a large bowl (microwavable), place butter and marshmallows.
Program microwave for 1 minute, then stir
Program for an additional minute, then stir
Remove from microwave after you have a very smooth texture (lumps are not welcome here)
Place the 5 C of Cheerios into the mixture. (spray spatula with nonstick spray) and mix well.
Take cereal mixture and place into the pan.
Again spray the spatula with nonstick spray and now push firmly against the mixture to ‘pack’ it and even it out (no mountains in the middle).
Cut horizontally and vertically (to the size of your preference) and create squares.
