Know Before You Read Ginger Water Recipe

Dana Vento is not a doctor, nor am I suggesting to use my advice instead of a doctor. Always speak to your health care provider before instituting anything NEW into your diet.

Before You Pop A Diet Pill Or Laxative Try Ginger Water!

When you look in the mirror from the side and you feel like you are carrying a watermelon in your belly, you are suffering from belly fat and belly bloat! Ugh. The feeling is miserable. You eat, exercise and nothing changes.

The more you hydrate, the bigger your belly gets. Bloating is the mother of self-image destruction (well at least one of the evils!).

But laxative pills are harmful, diet pills are not what they are cracked up to be, so does ginger water hold potential? Naturally, there are debates about this all over the board, but, read, and learn that what I do! Then make a decision.

Then There’s The Line In The Sand (The Belly Ridge)

Holy Grail of Ginger WaterOf course, you also have this stubborn ridge of belly fat that absolutely ruins every pair of jeans, shorts, and skirts you put on. In fact, it’s like a tire around your belly that bulges and it is SO aggravating.

Did I already mention ginger water?

While Ginger Water or ginger water tea (however, you prefer to refer to this beverage), will help, there are other things you can do as well!

Misery. Bloating. Then There was Ginger Water!

So will you take on the challenge of trying the ginger water recipe to really battle stubborn belly fat and gain solid results? That’s on you!

No change comes without a challenge right? This may just help you spur on that change. If you feel better inside you might shine on the outside right?

Persistence, organized sipping (meaning not just once a day but at least 2x a day), plus a cleaner menu with fewer junk foods and sweets, coupled with some exercise (like hitting 10k steps a day) all will have a hand in relieving misery!

Yes, I use this daily and I believe it helps me so I am sharing it, but be sure to keep reading on.

Misery. Ginger Water Please

Relentless upset stomach, the best way to describe belly bloat and that belly ridge. It’s there, and often very stubborn. In fact, the bloating can create misery that ruins how you feel in clothing that rounds your waist (everything)!

It’s destructive as it can change how you feel about yourself just because your belly bloat makes you uncomfortable and feel ‘squashed’ inside of clothes. While you are feeling squashed your belly is extended and it’s just a hot mess.

Avoid putting on pleats, that makes the bloat worse. And by all means avoid very flat fronts, as this will accent the bloat! My best has been a flouncy shirt that either criss-crosses or, has a knotted tie in the front. It’s my belly bloat hide shirt!

Although I still feel bloated, I do feel a bit relieved the rest of the world isn’t seeing my bloat that is making me miserable!

About Ginger Water + Prep. Battle Back!

Ginger root. Not ginger powder. You will be using fresh ginger root.

In fact, you’ll wash the skin (you can scrub it like a potato if you want to leave the skin on) or you can peel the skin off.

You will need to either grate or mince or smash the ginger once peeled.

It has been found that Ginger root can help to reduce BLOATING and it helps to aid in digestion, which both help with that belly fat area!

Other Things To Know About Ginger Water

The water you use will be BOILED without exception.

Add-ins are welcome, such as honey, lemon, or agave.

However, whatever you use, should be minimal, and organic to keep the Ginger water pure.

Wash the ginger root thoroughly.

Steeping is what creates the infused flavor.

Do know this is a bit spicy, remember ginger is a spice!

Add more or less ginger as you like.

Drink ginger water at least 2x a day for 7 days in a row.

You can drink this with any meal of the day, throughout the day or AM and PM.

Recipe Ginger Water (Ginger Tea)

Yield: 2 Cups

Ginger Water (Ginger Tea)

Ginger Water steeped

A simple combination of ingredients to spur on belly fat-blasting. Use daily to make a change in stored belly fat.

Prep Time5 minutes
Additional Time25 minutes
Total Time30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Root (fresh, peeled, then minced)
  • 2 C Water (boiled, steeped, cooled)
  • 1 Tsp Honey (organic) (or you can use agave)
  • A slice of Fresh Lemon Sliced (optional but tasty)

Instructions

  1. Wash. Scrub your ginger root.
  2. Grate a tablespoon and set it aside.
  3. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Place ginger root inside the water.
  6. Cover and allow to steep for 25 minutes to 45 minutes. This allows the ginger to really infuse the water.
  7. When you are ready to serve it (after a minimum of 25 minutes) strain the minced ginger with a sieve as you pour and reserve the ginger pieces.
  8. Once the ginger water is transferred into your cup, add a few pieces of the ginger you reserved. This will allow you to 'chew' on something as you sip, it's a bit more fulfilling. Totally optional but enjoyable.
  9. Add lemon slice when you serve (optional)
  10. You can also add a bit of honey as listed above to sweeten a bit, again optional.
  11. Suggested 1 cup in the morning and one before bed. Or drink it 2x a day with any meals.
  12. Enjoy ~ Dana
