Options for Font, Color & Images For Lacrosse HoCo Proposal Idea
Then I made a new discovery of a site that offers great options, and is easy and fast to use. I wished I would have seen the site before.
Going forward I’ve been using this for design. You do want to try it out.
I love DesignCap.Com. If you have not used this site, and are for the first time, you will love it! Also, if you need imagery, the small monthly fee is worth it for that month.
There’s no contract so use it as you need it to get free images to support your sign and you won’t have to search anywhere else.
Certainly, I should mention you can use the free version of DesignCap if you have images you just need to tweak or if you want to work with FONTS only.
Pro Tip For Printing And Font For Your LAX HOCO Ask Sign
Use the settings to 11″ x 8″ (for landscape, not portrait). Make certain you first choose inches then load the numbers.
FONT and COLOR For The LAX HOCO Ask Sign
First, figure out what phrase you are going to use.
Once committed to that phrase, go to any photo editor online.
Online photo editors include things programs such as PowerPoint, which allows you to easily manipulate letters and words, or a collage maker.
FONT for the Person’s Name (who you are asking) – Get The Look
Once you find the online editor you are comfortable with(Canva, Adobe, Design Cap) it is time to create the words.
- In order to give you an idea of letter size and font, to create the name AMELIA, here’s what we used.
- The Font was called ‘Sometime Later’ at 229.
- Then I set it diagonal across the screen to make sure it could be the biggest possible.
- Next, make sure to adjust the colors to fit your school’s colors. After all, HOCO is about your school, so use the right colors.
- Do make certain to save that image to your computer, because you will be pulling it up on WORD or GOOGLE DOCS to print it.
Other Fonts We Used For the Lacrosse HoCo Proposal Idea (optional)
- ‘The Thought’ was sized at 125 using UKIJ Qolyazmaz TUZ at 125 and’ LACROSSED’ at 350.
- Use 3 separate pieces of paper to break the word down, then stretch it out over all the paper framing of 11 x 8 (landscape)
- Next, Adigiana Toybox in a 48 was used to make “my mind to ask you to go”
- Then I used Quintessential at a Font point of 250 to make HOCO stand out.
- “Will you go with me” was the finale on the poster board and therefore, needed to end light and bubbly. Using UKIJ Qolyazmaz TUZ at a point size of 88 allowed the font to match the initial font and create a light ending in point texture.
Once you have it all saved to a file, then go to Google Docs, and insert the image.
Stretch it across each piece of paper and print it. It is that easy!
You can use these or whatever you prefer, more or less these were for point of reference if you plan on printing out your words rather than writing them!
How To Put The HOCO Sign Together For LAX
Start by attaching the bead to the lacrosse stick and the netting.
Add the school color beads or whatever you have chosen to add pops of sparkle to the LAX stick.
If you are using colorful beads attempt to weave the beads through the netting (1 set) and the other around the handle.
As you do this make sure to use the tape (or use your glue gun) so that everything stays in position and set the stick aside.
After all the papers were printed, cut each and place them along the board and place them on the board for spacing.
However, make certain to start with the focal point, the word ‘LACROSSE’ as it spread diagonally from left to right.
Next after fitting the wording on, place the lacrosse stick on.
Rather than starting with gluing the words, affix the Lacrosse stick first.
Use something to poke 2 holes through the foam board (a screwdriver works well)
Then Use zip ties to tighten it on the board.
Now that you have the stick attached to the lacrosse homecoming proposal sign you’ll want to glue the words.
That’s it!
Print the directions for the project including the supply list touching here to access it fast!
