The Peach Shrimp Salad With Gorgonzola Recipe
Since you came here for the recipe, allow me to provide it along with step-by-step instructions. You don’t have to be a chef to prepare this, and the ingredients can all be found at your local farm markets or grocery stores!
INGREDIENTS
16 Cooked Shrimp (tail off, deveined)
3 C Kale Mix (Dino Kale, green onion, red cabbage, white cabbage)
1 C Baby Greens
Avocado (1) Diced
2 Large Fresh Peaches (1 sliced and one diced)
Gorgonzola (1/3 C Crumbled pieces)
Salt and Pepper (freshly milled pepper) to taste.
Ciabatta Sliced Bread
2 Tbsp Organic Honey
3 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze
How To
There is no cooking involved as you have read. You will just be adding each of the ingredients into the bowl, it is fast and easy. No heat from the kitchen appliances, just good eats fast! Ready?
Let’s look at this close up before we start. I love close-ups they are very telling of what you are about to create and sink your fork into! A total bowlful of YUM!
In a large bowl, layer the Shredded Kale mix with the Baby Green mixture. Mix greens well. Follow with diced avocado pieces sprinkling atop greens mixture. Then add shrimp, one by one, across the mixture. Do not toss.
Place in the cut bread baguette chunks around the perimeter of the bowl. This way anyone that grabs a serving of salad also can claim their fresh, crusty baguette bread slice too!
Add crumbled Gorgonzola and then chopped peaches. Mist with salt and pepper to taste. Then add the sliced peaches to the very top. Between the chopped and sliced peaches, you will really have a great flavor combination, especially once we do the these last few steps.
Peaches alone are amazing and sweet and of course, the Old 96 District peaches reign supreme in both color and flavor. Once we add the Honey and Balsamic your tastebuds are going to be zapped into a total foodgasm experience. It’s truly that exceptional.
The sweet of the honey brings out the bold of the peach, against the lightly tart balsamic glaze offers immeasurable taste! I just say it peach flavor to Infinity and Beyond! Ready? Just drizzle with both balsamic glaze and honey to finish.
