Super Easy To Make Easter Dirt Cups With Peeps

We all know Dirt cups are pretty much sandwich cookies for the dirt and pudding for below.

You do however have many options within this spectrum, so here’s an overview.

Decide if you want to make this with white dirt (vanilla creme cookies) or with brown dirt (dark chocolate creme cookies).

That’s the first big decision of the day, really hard right?

Not at all!

Pudding is always another consideration.

What flavor?

Honestly, I don’t see how you can go wrong unless you mix bad cookie flavors with pudding.

Solve Mixing Issues

Also, you can always use skim milk to keep the fat at bay and cut calories as well.

Finally, choose the color Peeps you want to use.

There are so many and it is a festive, fun-color season so have a good time, mixing and matching because anything goes.

Getting Down and Dirty With the Ingredients

Using the cookies you want is key to making this recipe yours.

There is no set standard.

Your dirt can be white, black, pink, whatever you choose.

Also, since no one can see below the dirt, you can always use ANY flavor pudding you would like to.

I do suggest considering how flavors mix, before you just dump any pudding in, but do mix and match those that match!

Remember food allergies and milk allergies.

You can always sub other products for milk like coconut milk, etc. Easter Dirt Cups With Peeps , dessert, Easter, fast, easy to recreate, good, fun, cute, diy, cooking, food prep, how to, dirt cups, dessert dirt, peeps, marshmallow,

Tips To Help You With Your Easter Dirt Cups with Peeps

Try not to eat all of the ingredients, because they will taunt you the whole time!

Temptation,  during the process, is almost impossible to resist.

Give in and make sure to make a little extra to reward yourself.

There’s just no bad way to eat a cookie and when they are crumbled, they are even tastier (IMO).

Also, you need to remember that you will get chocolate crumbs all over your mouth and then get busted for eating while preparing, lol.

Peep Info You Need To Know

Did you know if you buy more PEEPS than you need they can be frozen?
That’s right, freeze them.

So if you happen to find Peeps on Clearance after Easter, buy and freeze.

Use these leftover Peeps in Krispy Rice Treats, they are amazing to work with! Yum.

Also, there are so many colors, take your time choosing and buy more than you might need.

Reminder, Peep thieves are always at large in your home!

Color Creates a More Festive Look!

peep in a dirt cupAh, I think he looks lonely, let’s make it a bit fancier shall we?

A color-pop solves everything so maybe add in some festive sprinkles.

Check your local grocery store.

Presentation For Dirt Cups

When you make a special dessert, dress it up.

Find special little serving cups or use plastic disposable cups to keep things easy.

Did you know that you can find many different colors in plastic cups?

No need to make cleanup harder than it has to be.

Stick with simple, and disposable or reusable cups that go in the dishwasher!

Easy, Peasy!

There’s nothing to this recipe it is very simple.

Simple.

Yummy and so festive.

Do refrigerate if you are not using till later as some of the ingredients must be refrigerated until serving.
