You do however have many options within this spectrum, so here’s an overview.
Decide if you want to make this with white dirt (vanilla creme cookies) or with brown dirt (dark chocolate creme cookies).

Pudding is always another consideration.
What flavor?
Honestly, I don’t see how you can go wrong unless you mix bad cookie flavors with pudding.
Solve Mixing Issues
If you are making 2 batches, then you can do one of each, it’s that simple.
Also, you can always use skim milk to keep the fat at bay and cut calories as well.
Finally, choose the color Peeps you want to use.
There are so many and it is a festive, fun-color season so have a good time, mixing and matching because anything goes.

Your dirt can be white, black, pink, whatever you choose.
Also, since no one can see below the dirt, you can always use ANY flavor pudding you would like to.
I do suggest considering how flavors mix, before you just dump any pudding in, but do mix and match those that match!

Temptation, during the process, is almost impossible to resist.
