Summer is a mixed blessing of sorts, as it brings home the kids (Yeah) and it also brings on the chaos. Every year I look forward to my season of surviving summer travel and summer camps. This year is going to be so very different.
I have the best way to keep the kids STUFF organized and ‘theirs’ and while traveling, I do not fret about the youngest no matter where we are, because my find helps that too!
While Surviving Summer Travel and Summer Camps may sound funny to you, it is not something I personally take lightly. As a mom of a child with life-threatening allergies, both environmental and food, I can never be too careful.
A simple trip to the men’s room and something awful could happen. What I have found will help other moms out there too when caring for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Summer camps are a mixed bag of fun the kids endure is all about survival. Here’s how to tip the scales of summer in your favor. Lavishly live life out loud surviving summer travel and summer camps.
Surviving Summer Travel and Summer Camps
You send your kids out with their belongings and they bring home ‘little joey’s’ ! This summer you are going to change the law of mishaps and let it sway in your favor.
School is done and my kids are counting the days down for me until camp and vacation. I am just as excited as they are because we are getting ready to travel. It’s time to hit the beach. It’s also time for ice hockey camp in our home?
Hockey camp is its own fun for my boys where they get to fine tune their skills and hang out with all of their friends. Hockey Camp is also one of the most messy locker rooms in the world.
Imagine this: there are a bunch of moms, sending their kids to camp, and the kids shove any and everything in their bag that they will live out of day-long and week long. Place 24 boys in one locker room, and have them unsupervised. Are you ready for a recipe of lavish disaster ?
What if you could easily label all their belongings with a personalized label? I have found a label that won’t come off of their clothes, possessions, and stuff that they take with them. Suddenly summer camp is more manageable.
Mabel’s Labels in fact are the amazing labels that you stick. The labels don’t get unstuck and they are guaranteed 100%. I think the guarantee is one of sanity, so you know what you send your kid with, they are coming home with, lol! A label makes it so easy to find each matching shin guard, each hockey sock, each elbow pad.
I have created labels before and let me just say, it has been a nightmarish task. However, visiting Mabel’s Labels was easy, peasy and my labels look amazing. This year there are Limited Edition Camp Label Packs that are designed to help keep your child’s belongings all labeled, so they can keep their ‘stuff’.
You know that my child has severe and life-threatening allergies, and the truth of the matter is, one touch of something he is allergic too and there is simply, so little time to react and help him. Latex, and many other environmental, tactile surfaces prove threatening yet he is too old to come to the restrooms with me, and he has to venture on his own.
What happens if he passes out on the floor in the bathroom? Someone in there will see this, a disposable band that he can wear, it has my information on it and it is a good point of reference for someone.
The Good Stuff
Did you know that Mabel’s Labels are award-winning customizable products. The labels are laundry, dishwasher & microwave-safe as well as 100% guaranteed. Mabel’s Labels are perfect for clothing, swim gear, backpacks, shoes, toiletries, hockey bags, hockey shin guards, hockey helmets, etc.
Lavishly live packing those kids out loud when you use Mabel’s Labels to keep things organized, and labeled. A simply DIY project that takes only minutes to do. You will save you hundreds of dollars when your kids don’t lose their stuff! Here’s to Surviving Summer Travel and Summer Camps. Only let the memories stick, not someone else’s stuff.
