“The Force Be With You”

In this episode of Dana Vento’s life, we find Dana in need of a hose that will actually clean, push and move debris along.  There is nothing I dislike more than a weak hose nozzle.  We have tried so many hose nozzles, and most of them break or really have no power behind them, however…. the Gilmore New Master Series Nozzle, a 410GCR with an Adjustable Rear Trigger(sounds like a gun right?) really moves the gunk off the floor and out the door.  Get ready to lavishly live life out loud when you clean, spray and move the dirt! This little nozzle makes me smile.

With summer here I am all about the clean car, the fresh garage, the clean patio, the front stoop washed up and dirt free, but I don’t like working with a nozzle that seems to lack the power that I can yield when I work behind the hose! That sounds so funny, but think about how much cleaning you can actually get done when you are working with a hose and the time that you can cut out if your hose nozzle really lets the “force be with you!”

I don’t mind washing my vehicle when I actually have a force behind me. Car washing is one thing, but having to get that soap off the vehicle is a whole other chore.   I personally have a hard time wasting energy when washing a car.  There are so many things I would rather be doing, but I love the look of a clean, washed car.  The work often involved is incredible to get it to clean and washed and if the power of the nozzle does not come through(literally) with a bit of a force, you won’t get anything done.  Dirt sticks, soap stays on, your efforts are just in vane! I also enjoy a patio and front porch, free of debris, and bird waste.  I usually whip up a brew of dish washing detergent and water and hose away all the dirt and debris so it does not track in when all the little feet trample in and out each day.  Even if the clean is only temporary, as you know, it makes you feel good! If you are looking for a high pressure, adjustable spray patter nozzle, I have found the Cadillac of nozzles for you!

Up until recently, I have purchased basic nozzles, such as those that I have picked up from local hardware stores, large retail merchandisers and sometimes even the dollar stores.  I have witnessed those that:  run without stopping, are hard to grip, leak, and are basic garbage and probably should not have left the production line because they were not done being produced as they lack working parts! With frustration from hose nozzles tried year after year, it was with pleasure that I accepted my hose nozzle from Gilmour.

Let’s take a look at the Gilmour NEW Master Series Nozzle – just a few things I have learned.

  • 125 PSI rating for high pressure performance
  • Heavy-duty zinc body and tip
  • Adjustable spray pattern for multiple cleaning solutions
  • Non-slip Ergo Grip for comfort
  • Adjustable water flow for improved control
  • Hold-open clip for continuous spraying
  • Lifetime limited guarantee
  • Ideal for cleaning

hose, power washer, strength, nozzle, power, clean, spray, mist, clear debris, forcelful. gilmore, dana vento, outdoors, hoseWhile the aforementioned are the highlights of the product, I feel that if I can describe this nozzle to you, you might understand the 2 thumbs up I am giving it!   I simply attached it to our hose and began a whole new cleaning crusade, that led me from the garage floor, to the car, to the front porch to the back patio, I kind of went cleaning crazy!  It was unbelievable because the power in my hand was cleaning without effort.

The water pressure that  often seems to lag for lack of a better word, was actually coming through the Gilmour NEW Master Series Adjustable Nozzle with FORCE.  The dirt in the garage moved, and I did not have to stand there for a 1/2 hour at a time, waving my hand back and forth to move the debris, I simply moved my hand back and forth a few times and out the door the debris went! As for bird doo, that was no challenge for the force of this nozzle.  I simply squirted the bird droppings and swoosh it was gone.  Buds, leaves, dirt, soap on a car, aluminum siding, windows up high and shutters all met the force of the nozzle.

In order to make the stream force from the nozzle stronger like a jet spray you turn the tip one way, and if you want it lighter to mist something you simply turn the tip of the nozzle the opposite way.  The flow control is at the back of the nozzle and you regulate how much water flows through the nozzle.  If you want, you can also let the hold-open clip take over if you are watering for long periods of time, which saves your hand from depressing the handle for long periods of time, I however, did not use that clip because I was controlling, spraying and cleaning away, with bursts, pumps and forces of water spray!

This is a heavy-duty nozzle, that is unlike any other nozzles I have tried. The nozzle really makes cleaning effortless and is easy to use.  It connects easily to the hose and you won’t believe the water pressure you will suddenly find when you use this nozzle! Two Big Thumbs Up for the Gilmour NEW Master Series Nozzle!

If you want a cleaner garage, patio, lawnmower, grill and anything that is dirty, you have to lavishly live out loud and purchase one of these bad boys to clean it all up.  the power behind the force is amazing and with the squeeze of a trigger all dirty stuff is left behind! I love when I can be trigger happy(lol).
