Vegas has so much to do, and spending a day of the strip of Las Vegas was a good choice. We really wanted to see Hoover Dam and I heard that there were some incredible photograph opps off the Vegas Strip.

Program your GPS out of Vegas and go to the Hoover Dam. The Dam is literally 25 minutes off the strip (without traffic) or 40 with. Either way, the drive is easy, the scenery is fantastic and the Hoover Dam is awesome. You can squeeze in so many things to do in Vegas, just make sure you squeeze in the Hoover Dam.

If you have been eating on the Vegas Strip you know the food is delicious, but there’s more to experience for those culinary enthusiasts.  Today, lavishly live food and travel out loud. I am about to share a secret of where to Squeeze In For lunch after the Hoover Dam.

Where To Squeeze In For Lunch After The Hoover Dam

Smiley face statue decorated with drawings

Today’s post was based on a lunch that was hosted, that’s what I do visit and share! Honestly, I only write about the best of the best and I would be smitten if I did not share these eats. Oh, My – just get to Squeeze In and enjoy. Images and content are mine based on this amazing dining experience, that I want YOU to try to. It’s a local hang and they know good food!

You know, once you are off the strip, and off the highway, you actually are in neighborhoods. They are beautiful. But where do you stop to eat? I know where you can eat both breakfast and lunch and the libations, and portions will blow you away! How much can you Squeeze Into your day? A lot!

Personally, the earlier you get to the dam the better. Originally we were supposed to be on a tour, but I did not want to be pinned to their time frame. Instead, we drove so we could do more and see more. I have to really feel like I got to know the area before I will cover it, and our personal drive was the best.

Further, those tour groups totally congregate and descend upon the dam area by about 10 AM, so get there early, enjoy without the crowds and then leave. Alrighty then, you have walked, snapped photos, shared on social media and now your belly is a rumbling. Also, you have been off the Vegas Strip a while so I bet you could use a drink? Yep, I can tell you where to Squeeze In Lunch!

Where is Squeeze In?

So if you leave the Hoover Dam you are just about 20 minutes away, and then back into the Las Vegas strip from there for another 15 minutes! You are super close to everything. Let this be the ONE stop you make. Locals eat here and keep coming back. While we were sitting there in fact, Jahlisa (our server) pretty much knew everyone coming in and going out.

Destination: Located in the Regal Plaza at 8876 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas 89123, near the intersection of S. Eastern and the 215 Freeway. It is in the back part of the plaza, there is plenty of parking and it has few little aliens outside.

I so loved this, I wrote my website on the wall and had fun ‘being a kid’.  They give you markers and you create the wall art, don’t be shy.

This experience is one I would repeat over and over. If the locals go, you know its good and the food is amazing. Simple, delicious and off the strip! Totally a no-brainer IMO! You just want to indulge in this experience and I so WISH PITTSBURGH had this restaurant I would be there every week. #VegasBaby ~ DANA

This really looks like it was a lot of fun. I agree with you, I guess these tour visits are very limited (although they might be convenient when you are somewhere you don’t know the language, for example). And I was really tempted by this garlic fries, OMG. Very nice tip of a place that seems just great!

This looks like a fab and fun place to eat outside of Hoover Dam. Love the decor as it is relaxed and the food looks outrageously yummy – chocolate covered bacon – is that even legal? ? Also, I am a sucker for garlic fries!! They really know how to do it at Squueze In! ? Xo, Evelyn, PathofPresence.com ?

ohhhhh my gosh those Garlic Fries look amazing!! Since I have family every where, we meet in Vegas every year. We always skip the hoover dam because the kiddos were babies and wouldn’t really appreciate it (I’ve been to the Hoover Dam like twice). I think now that they’re older this year we’ll have to definitely check out the Dam & stop by Squeeze In! The garlic fries is all I need! Thanks for sharing, we love trying out new places!
