3 Airport Parking Hacks for the Last-Minute Traveler
Trying To Get Liftoff – Airport Parking Hacks
Today’s post is sponsored, and I am a brand partner of The Parking Spot. As you know I only share the best of the best and The Parking Spot exceeds my airport parking expectations every time. Since they are amazing, I am sharing some insight with you. Tested and true! ~ DANA XO
You’re in your car, feverishly driving to the airport because you barely had time to plan this trip. Why? As per busy online scheduling, the airline carrier could not issue a ticket, that you were in the process of purchasing.
The flight you wanted was not available, so, you hurriedly packed and accepted whatever you could find, including the most awful ‘middle seat’. Now, you stopped your home life and you are headed to the airport!
There’s good travel ahead, don’t let this day before snafu send you into a tizzy.
(1) I Got My Parking On My App- Airport Parking Hacks for the Last minute traveler
Remember, you did something great already while you were on hold with the airline carrier for about an hour. No worries, you are an albeit last-minute traveler, but you have a great app that lets you at least schedule your Parking Spot.
So, while you were on the phone, with the airlines due to their booking issues, you multi-tasked on hold. Using your phone app for airport parking at The Parking Spot you scheduled your parking spot!
This one genius move, not only secured a parking spot, but also a ride to and from the airport but a no-hassle entrance when you arrive there! Oh, you are good! The Parking Spot App provides you a no-nonsense way to secure a parking spot whether it is valet parking, premium parking, or any ‘spot’ you prefer.
No tickets, no no-nonsense. Just scan your app and enter. See, it did not matter that you forgot your printed ticket at home, your App for the Parking Spot has you covered!
(2) Fast & Fabulous Parking – Covered & Uncovered – Airport Parking Hack
Covered Parking –
Each Parking Spot facility offers the same great service, but also offers different types of Parking. For Instance in PIT(PA), ATL (GA),AUS (TX), BDL (CT), BNA (TN), CLT (NC), CMH(OH), DAL (TX), DFW (TX), HOU(TX), IAH (TX), LAX (CA), MCI (KS), MCO (FL), PHL (PA), PHX (AZ), SLC (UT), STL (MI), you can choose covered parking.
If you live in Pittsburgh, you know this is awesome because, of our weather that consists of both rain and snow, depending on the season.
Say, “Hoorah!” to coming back to a car that is not covered in snow or where you rained on as you exit the Parking Spot shuttle! It’s a great experience from stop to start. I should also mention that covered self-parking means that no one turned your windshield wipers on to clear the snow, breaking them and costing you a whopping $300 for a repair?
A true story that happened to me at another facility. Interestingly enough, as I was on the Parking Spot shuttle, on a cold snowy day, I have learned that is why a lot of people have sought out The Parking Spot as well.
Uncovered Parking
Self-parking is fast, offered in most of the Parking Spot locations at the airports is fast to check-in and out of. Additionally, there’s always plenty of lighting and it’s fully staffed. You are not on a deserted parking lot here!
Here’s the fact, not having to circle an airport parking lot in search of parking is key. When you are traveling at the last minute, every second count. I don’t do the search and find a thing when I head to an airport, this hack of ‘being in the know’ of where to park is an airport traveler survivalist must!
Simply reserve your space at one of the lots, catch the free shuttle, and enjoy your trip. Success.
(3) Drive-in, Step Out & Shuttle Me
Covered Valet Parking & Uncovered Valet Parking
If your particular Parking Spot offers Covered Valet Parking, last-minute travel is the time to put it into action! Pull in, scan your app, and let the valet take the car and the shuttle driver your bags. Carefree travel has begun!
For those that have covered parking, your car will come back to you sins snow, or rain on it. If you are in uncovered, no worries, the snow will be professionally cleared, and your car will be warm and waiting, once the shuttle drops you off! ♥♥
This is the VIP service if you ask me. There’s really nothing to it and no added stress is one less irritant when traveling to the airport! Now if only the airport could be as easily navigated. Le sigh!
