Incredible Tips For a Comfortable Flight
Whenever the occasion dictates, it’s always best to travel light. This alleviates the need drag a heavy bag down the narrow aisle and worry about whether or not you’ll have to spend hours tracking down lost luggage. Pack what you need in your carry-on, the stuff that would let you survive a few days just in case your checked-in luggage gets lost. Keep it very detailed with a few outfits, undergarments and of course an additional pair of shoes.
Drink Plenty of Water
Many pilots and other airline personnel swear that drinking lots of water, during your flight, is one of the best things you can do to stay comfortable. At least one quart of water for every four hours of travel time is highly recommended. Why? It’s simple, really. Flying takes a bigger toll on your body than you realize. Staying hydrated helps to reverse the negative effects you may or may not feel.
This is one of my favorite portable water containers and ideal for travel at the airport.
Wear Comfortable Shoes
If you can’t wear comfortable shoes to the airport, at least take a pair with you. Slippers do the trick, as well. There is almost nothing worse than a tight pair of shoes on a long flight.
For those who prefer removing their shoes altogether, packing a warm pair of socks in a carry-on doesn’t hurt.
Check out these Compression socks by fending off swelling that commonly occurs on coast-to-coast flights.
Resting On The Plane
If you are going to catch a nap, then make sure you are ready with a pillow, or this form of a pillow. This is stylish and easy to tote and you can slumber without hurting your neck.
Get to the Airport Early
The earlier you get to the airport, the better. Don’t risk the possibility of the added stress and frustration you’ll put yourself through, when you have to run from the check-in counter all the way to the plane.
As you can see, there are several easy ways to make flying more comfortable… especially if you happen to be flying coach. Even if you only take advantage of a couple of them, chances are you’ll notice a difference. Lavishly live travel out loud with my Incredible Tips For a Comfortable Flight.
