Ingredients For Your Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Roll Hack
This recipe hack for cherry cheesecake is the easiest I have tried to date, but you could also keep the sheets of crescent rolls in tact and make this in a baking pan as a sheet instead of a single serve.
I want to mention that in case you prefer slices and not single-serve cheesecake.
- 1 can of cherry pie filling (if you prepare these like I did you will have some leftovers)
- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- cinnamon
- 2 Tsp of Sugar
- 8 oz of softened cream cheese
- 4- full-size graham cracker squares (crushed)
How To Make The Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Roll Hack
Prepare Your Crescent Roll Cherry Cheesecake Pans and Base
Step 1: Using your pastry brush, evenly distribute the nonstick spray throughout the muffin pan cavities if you are using Ramekins do the same to each.
Step 2: Roll out the crescent rolls and separate them, but, leave 2 together and press the seams together for the ramekin portions or separate them and make smaller portions (see the video for this)
Step 3 Place The Crescent Rolls Into the Greased Cavities of the Muffin Tins
Step 4: Prepare the Cheesecake filling with Cream Cheese
Place the softened cream cheese into a mixing bowl, add the vanilla, and sugar, and mix with the hand mixer until smooth.
Step 5: Add the Graham Crackers To The Mixture
Crush the graham crackers and add them to the cream cheese mixture and blend thoroughly.
You can use premade graham cracker crumbles in a box, or you can use a food processor if you prefer or a rolling pin and a plastic bag is another method to crumble the graham crackers.
I personally used clean hands and crumbled them into small enough pieces to become blended into the cream cheese.
Step 6: Place a Teaspoon of the Cream Cheese Graham Cracker Mix Into Each Cavity
You’ll not want to add more as you do need to get these sealed and you still need to add the cherries to the crescent roll cheesecake hack!
Step 7: Add the cherries into the pocket. (If you are making ramekin size you will have more space to work with for filling, however, if you are using a single crescent roll and forming it, you will only use about 2 cherries per bite-size cherry crescent roll bomb! )
Step 8: Seal all the edges and then flip the seams over to be on the bottom.
Step 9: bake at 375°F For 15-20 Minutes until they are golden brown.

Step 10: Allow these to cool and then add powdered sugar and enjoy!
You Can Use Different Pie Filling
Are these actually cherry cream cheese crescent rolls? No. They are more like cherry cream cheese muffins IMO.
I have not wrapped them like a crescent roll at all, all I have done is use the dough to create a pouch that is filled with cream cheese, cherry pie filling, and graham crackers.
In fact, it looks like a muffin when it is done, but it is not!
Also, you can use any flavor pie filling you prefer for this recipe such as:
- lemon
- apple
- blueberry
- peach
- berry medley
- and pumpkin
What About An Optional Topping?
If you wanted to add a little something extra to the top of the cheesecake with cherry crescent roll hack you could brush each with a whisked egg yolk for color, or you could make my dutch crumb topping that I use on my internet-famous pies as an option.
Doing the latter will provide a crunch atop the muffin.
How To Transport the Cherry Cream Cheesecake Crescent Roll Hack
These are not delicate cupcakes, they are portable.
I would suggest using a snap top container to transport your dessert hack to any destination.
Additionally, if you are going somewhere warm, the crescent roll cherry cheesecake bombs should stay refrigerated due to the cream cheese content and proper food handling requirements!
