Clear Complexion & Teens

August 10, 2014 By Dana Vento Leave a Comment

I would hardly consider myself an expert on how to keep a clear complexion, but I do know as soon as I had my first blemish, my mom took me to the dermatologist to wage the war on these horrible things known as zits, pimples, acne! My children, and I do have a few of them, are starting to pass through that lovely thing known as puberty.  2 out of the three are in their teens and they feel every moment of it with break outs and complexions that are not always their favorite look.  I often tell them it is a badge of their age, but they prefer to tell me,that it is more about what they did not do or did not have at their disposal to ‘fix’ the situation.  I have them armed and dangerous to wage the war on break-outs so now I want to see what their lavish excuse is as they have been using NEUTROGENA to keep those complexions clear.  Let’s learn through my teens!

Did you know that most break-outs are often said to be the results of not taking make up off or washing your face before bed but in fact that is such a fallacy.  Acne is under your skin long before you know it is there, it is unseen and it will make an appearnance just when you don’t want it to, you know when you need to look your best? The best skin out there has unforeseen blemishes waiting to come out!

NEUTROGENA scientists have discovered a way to see this “unseen acne,” through a proprietary Clinical Skin Imager. The high-tech camera reveals clogged pores that aren’t visible to the naked eye. It is very important to wash your skin with an acne cleanser daily that has MicroClear technology to ensure you’re fighting acne before it reaches the surface and keep break-outs at bay.

Now, this is back-to-school time and you have 3 weeks in many cases before school starts, which means fight off that lurking, possible acne before the first day of school!

My son has been battling for a clear complexion by using Body Clear, Body Scrub, for his body(back included), oil free acne wash(daily scrub) and the oil free acne wash to just keep things “hush hush”!  He has been loving the results because pre-Neutrogena he was just using soap and water and breaking out more than he should have been as there was nothing fighting the daily battle.  It is hard enough going back to school, dealing with new teachers, new rules and new expectations, so if this simple change in his grooming routine makes a difference then it becomes a huge win and it has made a difference!

Since it is so important to wash the entire face daily, an acne cleanser with MicroClear technology will help to ensure you’re fighting acne before it reaches the surface and keep break-outs at bay. Especially on the first day of school, it’s important to keep “unseen acne” away!

I will also tell you, and it is probably nothing you don’t know already, teens are hardly regimented, so that is to say they won’t stick to a steady schedule, but that is ok, because this was still helping far more than using nothing.  When my son actually did maintain a schedule of application, and using daily he saw great results.  This is not drying, and my daughter really loved the pink grapefruit scent.  The Microbeads cut through dirt and impurities which is what often travels on skin, so you know that you are one step ahead in the fight against acne.  Removing dead skin cells and rinsing completely without pore-clogging residue is also important and of course Neutrogena is all of this!  As a mom, I trust Neutrogena brand, as it has been around for a long time, works well for me as an adult, cleansing my face, and it is gentle and effective.

Oil-Free Acne Wash, Acne Stress Control, Body Clear Body Wash, Body Care Body Scrub, are all available to help you help your kids fight off that acne before it hits the scene! Whether it’s your son or daughter Neutrogena is a great way to fend off just one other stressor that creates those back-to-school jitters!  Lavishly help your kids live their beauty life out loud, fight off acne before it comes round and enjoy the great results of the new MicroClear technology.  Let them break out into a happy dance rather than a break out of acne right? Have a great back-to-school season!
