Make sure to visit the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe when you are in the Temple Bar area, where dozens of pubs line the narrowed cobblestone streets, and alleys, in a picturesque yet poppin’ area, and while there are so many fabulous food and beverage options, where you’ll find one of the best inside, the Hard Rock Cafe Dublin.
Rock on with the music, dig into the food, and throw a few drinks back; you’ll not want to miss the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe, or you will have missed a classic Ireland (Dublin area) experience and will have an incomplete trip in the Temple Bar area is all I can say!
Don’t pass it off as just another chain you’ve been to elsewhere because DUBLIN is not elsewhere; it’s part of the great country of Ireland (which alone is incredible).
I’ll give you 5 awesome reasons you don’t want to miss this incredible experience!
My meal was hosted; the article, however, is based on my personal experience, if I don’t love it, I will not share it with you, but this experience is way up on the ‘YOU GOTTA’ list. Where To Find The Dublin Hard Rock Cafe
As I’ve alluded, the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe is centrally located in the Temple Bar area on Fleet Street.
You will traverse to the South Bank of the River Liffey and be in the heart of Dublin!
We spent a few nights roaming the streets, pub hopping, dining, and touring by day!
They say that the Temple Bar Area is for all those Under 30 and attending the local universities, but it is also for anyone who wants to be under 30 again or at least for the night!
I could use fancy words to describe the area, but that would be silly.
If you like to bar hop, this is your area. Think of it as a closet of clothing; if one bar does not fit who you are, move on to the next, like changing clothes, it’s that easy!
The Temple Bar area is the right destination for anyone that wants to get to the heart of the pub parties and feel like you are in college all over again; even if you can only hang with the Big Dogs for one night, be guaranteed you will hang the next day (rolf)!
So quickly read this and get to the Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin!
#1 Dublin Hard Rock Cafe Is the Holy Grail Of Beverages
The iconic Temple Bar area hosts a favorable area to come to when you want to have a good time, eat and drink, and the true Holy Grail of beverages is right inside the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe!
The first thing you might notice is that there are local spirits on the menu and beer; I mean, what would a stop in a bar in Ireland be without the chance to savor the official GUINNESS Beer? But it goes beyond that!
Then I noted Irish Moonshine on the menu, and I lit up like a firework in the sky as if it was just the right drink for the right moment!
Try the Irish Moonshine; I sure did. How in the world could I pass that up?
This is part of what makes this Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin so uniquely Irish, it has locally spirited drinks made up of local spirits, and while the other famed drinks that we love the Hard Rock Cafe for are available, this puts a complete Irish vibe on drinking here!
You see, one of the reasons we make sure to find a Hard Rock Cafe at all the vacation stops we can is for the local drink offerings.
You can walk into any pub in Ireland and get a beer, but here at Ireland’s Hard Rock Cafe in the Temple Bar area lists out local options (for those of us not from Ireland), and it’s an experience as well!
#2 You Can Leave With The Only Irish Souvenir You Need
To tell you that I have a collection of Hard Rock Cafe glasses is what I was sharing above when I stated you would love the Irish Moonshine for more than one reason!
It started out innocently when we were in St. Thomas Virgin Islands, and then in Aruba, I know they are both closed, but suddenly we began mounting an unknown collection that we value as our favorite simple souvenirs.
We started with t-shirts and then went on to the harder stuff, glasses, just like the alcohol we put in them, lol!
Since then, we have guaranteed ourselves one special souvenir glass at each stop! That’s it.
Some people collect a magnet from each Hard Rock Cafe; others collect clothing and some pictures, and there’s a lot to choose from.
While you don’t have to collect glass, you can find other great souvenirs that say Hard Rock, as I explained above, so it is a one-stop shop to eat, drink, enjoy music, and then leave!
#3 Experience Local Eats At The Dublin Hard Rock Cafe
Now, let’s start with the fact that there is a Guinness Burger on the menu, which tells you how local you will get!
Follow that up with Ireland’s Hard Rock Cafe offering wings prepared in an Irish beer.
And, then, an offering of Guinness Beer Cheese Sauce For Fries, it’s like a trifecta of menu items sure to please anyone craving a whole lot of yum!
What we do know after eating them is that they were better than any wing we’ve had (and we’ve sucked up some serious amounts of wings during college!).
So let’s call them the Irish Wings that we had at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin, and if they are on the menu, ORDER them without hesitation!
Guinness Beer Cheese Sauce on Fries
Hard Rock Fries with Guinness Cheese Sauce, oh Yeah.
Salivate over these fries. They are so worth it.
I just wanted to put my whole face in that dish and eat them.
WHY? Because these were the first fries I had seen since we landed in Ireland!
Now, you have to know that it was not just about being Fry deprived; these fries in this cheese were ah-amazing.
The Hard Rock Dublin Caesar Salad
Something caught my eye with the Caesar salad, which I had not had in a while, so knowing that Caesar salads either nail it or don’t, I ordered one.
Yes, you could say my ordering was all over the place, but I was oddly hungry for the food we had not been eating and not a fan of many foods we had tried in other eateries!
Fresh lettuce in perfect bite-size pieces, so no embarrassing shove-in-my-mouth moments.
Solid croutons and the Caesar dressing were not too thick or thin, just enough to make it good.
Yes, I would order it again.
#4 The Dublin Hard Rock Cafe Provides Service That Shines
Big props to Taisa. She is golden.
Our service and everyone around us all experienced great service.
Service is always excellent, no matter which Hard Rock Cafe we have visited.
Here in the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe, it truly was exceptional.
Look at that smile. She was full of unparalleled personality, and of course, she provided some great suggestions, like the fries!
#5 Go For the Food And Drinks and Stay For the Music
Rock out with music that keeps on coming.
There’s a vibe that nowhere else can match, and it might be all that expensive, quality stereo equipment, or it might be how the Dublin Hard Rock Cafe is set up, but you’ll want to give yourself the full tour, so don’t just sit in your seat and wait for food get up and go down the steps!
If you get there when it’s busy, head down the steps and marvel at the space.
The bar area and live music stage are downstairs.
I seriously could not wrap my head around HOW BIG the Hard Rock Cafe was.
Why? Anywhere we had been in Ireland was always like a mystery.
Basically, in most of the bars, you head into one bar, and if there is no room, there’s an upstairs with a different bar or downstairs or connecting room with a different bar.
That is not the case at The Hard Rock Cafe.
Expansive, enormous, massive, immense, whatever you want to call it, there’s space.
It is a great thing because it rocks with Live music, especially after 5 PM.
What always makes me love the Hard Rock Cafe is that no matter how much music is playing, it’s always in the background, even though it’s cranking.
Videos that are playing do not interfere with a conversation either.
However, if you are on a bad date, you might be happy to stare at the videos and zone out to the music (just saying!).
Spacing between the seats and tables is also well-apportioned; seeing this is incredible. Most pubs and eateries are tight in the area, but not here!
Have You Visited The Dublin Hard Rock Cafe Experience?
We spent more time in the Temple Bar area Pub-hopping and eating than any other space, and we had to walk 25 minutes from our hotel to get there, without any bathroom stops along the long haul walk back, and we would do it again!
There’s a fun atmosphere waiting for you.
The Temple Bar area is a lot of fun, and it is Pub row, but the gem of all the possible streets and alleys loaded with drinking and eating options is the Hard Rock Cafe on Fleet Street!
Music, food, drinks, and good service in one sold location, well, you’ll seriously not want to miss the opportunity to stop at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin, or you will have missed a big piece of the Temple Bar area.
You could say the Hard Rock Cafe is a comfortable neutral restaurant when we travel.
We always visit one, and we always leave smiling. From music to food, The Hard Rock Cafe kind of completes each trip I take. It’s a tradition now.
Thanks to the Hard Rock Cafe for hosting us!
