Since we were on an Island it only made sense to dine with a panoramic view of the Put-In-Bay harbor.
I’ve eaten on the boardwalk before, but up top not in this restaurant. In fact, I think I was actually unaware this Put In Bay Boardwalk eatery existed!
How is that even possible? Well, up top they have some fabulous adult beverages so that is where I also hiked up to!
Inside Or Outside Dining: Put In Bay Boardwalk Eatery.
Let’s go to the upper deck, shall we? You can dine inside or outside here and you will have the BEST Views no matter your choice.
Today was very windy and a tad cooler (not complaining, just explaining) so we dined INSIDE and still had the best of views. Our dining experience offered great service, delicious food, and a million-dollar view.
Additionally, this particular destination offers plenty of options for everyone from allergen-friendly to vegetarian, pescatarian, and meat-loving! While I have dined in other parts of this particular venue, I had never eaten in the indoor restaurant and bar. Hello to a new incredible dining find and experience.
Now it’s time to dine at the premier Put In Bay Boardwalk Eatery that boasts a glistening panoramic view of the harbor.

Keep walking straight ahead, but feel free to stop and shop too! I did.
You can eat at the Upper Deck even if you had food allergies, just tell your server. My son ate there and was fine! A great reason to eat at this Put In Bay boardwalk eatery, aside from the view is the menu options. Large groups or families have lots of choices making it easier for everyone to dine!
Insider’s Tip for dining at Put In Bay Boardwalk Eatery
There’s an elevator if you can’t navigate stairs.
So you if you are headed to the stairs to the Upper Deck you will pass all these eateries. Keep moving forward.
It’s easy because they are ALL in one place. This time, the main deck offerings were fewer as it was late fall, so we opted for the restaurant inside.
Best decision we ever made.

Upper Deck
Take a look outside, this was our view! What a gorgeous day and this truly just eeks Island fun doesn’t it? What a great vibe.
Delicious food in a comfortable environment! Portions are plentiful and the table service was great and it was very busy when we were there. When you want a few minutes to yourself and just want to recoup from all the adventure, this is where to go.
Whether you eat in the restaurant and grab a cup of the famed Lobster Bisque or simply sit outside and enjoy a libation, it’s time well spent.
What We Ate At The Put In Bay Boardwalk Eatery
Lobster Roll With A View
Of course, I had one of my favorites, a Lobster Roll. Yes, it was delicious and plentiful, in fact, I ended up eating the Lobster meat and leaving the roll. The house-made chips were good too. Crunchy and lightly salted, not overstated just plain yum.
The spice on the lobster was not with a heavy hand and that is what I liked about it. Perfection in a lobster roll that comes with a harbor view!
I ordered a Ginger-gale (wow so exciting) because I had a bit of a party the night before, ‘nuf’ said! Michael had a beer, and Where Niko Travels had soda.
Honestly, this Lobster Roll is in a class of its own!
Allergy-Friendly Eats + MEAT!
The guys both had meat platters, one was chicken and one was a burger. You can see the freshness through the pictures and there’s plenty of food there for a person to enjoy. I appreciated the fact that s Where Niko Travels could eat here without issues with latex, nuts, or x-contamination of seafood.
Keep that in mind, because it’s hard traveling with life-threatening food allergies. That is why you see a bag of chips on his platter and NOT Fries, etc. The server was so helpful and kind.
Chicken, Apple & Brie Sandwich
My husband always orders something different and this was the winning combination today. The chicken, apple, and brie sandwich also offer sauteed onions on it and fries and he ate it all. It was ‘delicious’ as I was informed.
Boardwalk eatery experience Put In Bay
Whether you are starting your day off in Put-In-Bay or in the middle of it, I know you will love the view and the food. It does get busy, and there is a bar, so I advise a drink if you have to wait and enjoy the outdoors.
This is the boardwalk eatery experience in Put In Bay that will complete your true island fun!
There is a small area for golf cart parking and of course, there’s Delaware Ave, Catawba, etc. to find parking. It’s close to everything and a great way to start or end the day! So when you head to Put-In-Bay you will definitely want to visit the Upper Deck for a meal. Enjoy the ambiance and the view! XO DANA
