Squea—eee-kkk! Truly my Vegas-style vacation began the moment I walked over the pedestrian bridge and into the Grand Canal Shoppes. From shopping to entertainment, food to fun, I could have just stayed in this upscale mall destination all day. However, the rest of Vegas needed to be conquered, so a quick trot through to share with you!
The luxury Vegas-style shopping, lobster, and gondola rides were all in one place and spectacularly displayed and styled. You know how I am about shopping and all of ‘my’ stores were there, so it was hard to divide my time between sightseeing, shopping and eating!.
Lavishly live travel out loud, when in Vegas, check out the luxury Vegas-style shopping, lobster, and gondola rides. After all, a mix of shopping, lobster, and gondola rides all offer a fun luxury right?
Luxury Vegas Style Shopping, Lobster, and Gondola Rides
A girl’s gotta shop, eat and enjoy a bit of relaxation so where better than at the Grand Canal Shoppes. The Venetian offers a breathtaking ambiance with a realistic reproduction of the Venice Grand Canal. It’s crazy to see and there are no sewer smells wafting in the air so way more pleasant than the Venice experience.
Look at Clock Tower, so beautiful.
The canals
Picturesque and better than smelling the smell in Venice, lol. Indoors, without a passport, now that is a great concept. Have you been here? I was so distracted, I wanted to shop and look, and eat, but kept on walking to make sure to see it all!
There’s just so much to do I would need weeks to just saunter and uncover. However, if you are a time budget, at least see it to experience and love the surroundings.
and of course, the gondolas with the gondoliers singing.
No matter where I looked it was just simply picturesque and photo-worthy!
Entertainment You May Not Even Notice
Yes, she is real and you might just stroll buy here. What will catch your eye?
The pile of money in front of her. Photos yes, tip her yes. Enjoy this yes!
Boutique Shoppes
Take a look at any angle and you will find boutique shops just waiting for you.
Gelato Please
Gelato is irresistible, picturesque and there for the tasting!
Which one will you choose?
Lobster ME
I’d like to thank Lobster ME for the sampling of the items mentioned below. Images and content are my own.
And then there was lobster at Lobster ME.
Since the shopping ambiance is so elegant, there is no better way to top the day off than with a quick bite at Lobster ME.
I highly suggest a prior to Noon arrival it gets busy!
The Lobster ME Roll
Applause to the Lobster Roll.
Loaded with claw, knuckle, and tail meat, its supreme atop a toasted buttery roll.
Not to forget the citrus butter and chive that coats the masterpiece.
The bun has a light yet soft crunch, which meshed with the soft seasoned lobster meat. Open WIDE!
Yes your mouth can water, mine did and then I dug in.
Fries With That Lobster Roll
Let’s talk about the Lobster ME fries, or eat them, your choice (however, your screen does not taste good, lol!)
Crab loaded fries, my husband said they were really delish, but I had to pass on them (meat on them).
Cheese sauce, crab meat, green onions, ranch drizzle, bacon crumbles.
Taco Trio
Celebrate 3 different kinds of seafood in one dish! Fish, shrimp, and lobster, laced with chipotle aioli, and habanero crema.
There’s a tiny bit of heat in there. The chips weren’t bad, they were in old bay seasoning I think.
I would not say their chips are a reason to visit, but they are good enough to try.
I purchased a beer and a water to accompany our lunch, so these are good to nosh on with those!
Off To See The Atrium at The Venetian
After eating, I had to walk off that meal, so we headed over to the atrium of the Venetian®.
We were greeted by Vincenzo Li a Chinese Shar-Pei sitting at 16 feet tall, totally awesome.
While our walk did not conclude here, I want to share the image from the outside, the canals, sinful perfection and the day was just as beautiful.

Luxury Vegas Style Shopping, Lobster and Gondola Rides! It’s time to lavishly live travel and food out loud and Viva Las Vegas! ~ DANA
I haven’t been to Las Vegas, and if I willbsoon definitely this place is in my list. The lobster are to enticing and eating overlooking this faux canal is romantic. More champagne!
Vegas is a place I have always wanted to go, but never managed to get too. What is it like for kids? Do they have good babysitting service there…lol? That is the only way I could do it. Can’t imagine going as a family and not taking advantage of the nightlife!

After a lot of banter about bringing kids, my answer is NO. I believe what happens in Vegas from the roads to the hotel areas should be Adult Only. It, however, depends how you have brought your kids up. Mine are a bit shielded from the craziness and honestly Fremont street would have been a big NO go. Totally depends on what you want to do to. Nightlife is a must, strolling is fine, but I think best for Adults only again:) –
I like how your photos tell the story of this post. You just brought me there through these amazing pictures!
Thank you, the story makes it easy for you to get to #LobsterMe and enjoy all the fun along the way! #VegasBaby
The Venetian is one of my favorite places to stay and go to if I am not staying there when I go to Vegas. The food is NUTS! Yes, the shopping is too. I have never had the Lobster Rolls so trying them the next time I am in town
OMG, the pictures speak for themsleve. I can see you had an excellent time over there.
We had a blast in #Vegas
I live close to Vegas, so I have been there a few times. I even got to stay in this hotel, and it is really one of my favorite on the Strip. I love the water and canals. <3
Yes, that hotel is amazing and the canals really amp up the beauty
Loved reading your post as it brought back so many good memories of us while we were in Vegas a while back. The gondola ride and the food shots as well as the artist shot was super.
TY, we really loved out time in #Vegas
I would love to check out these awesome places to shop! (like as soon as I have some money!) but that gelato looks DIVINE! I love it!
The shops and the food and the ambiance are just incredible. #VegasBaby
It looks like you truly had an amazing time. The Gelato looks incredible!
We love Vegas! Especially the Venetian and the gondola ride. It’s nice they sing to you there. Have never tried a lobster roll though. Sounds amazing!
Vegas has so much to offer, there’s everything to love
I love your photos! I’ve never really been interested in visiting Vegas but it does look like there is a lot to do there! We may have to add it to our list.
There is so much to do in Vegas I had us scheduled for every hour to conquer it all. More articles coming
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE VEGAS! Going there is always an adventure. Vacations are supposed to feel that way and I love that your post totally reminded me of that
TY – Yes the area is all about R&R, and being pampered and having the best of the best and VEGAS delivers BIG
Wow that looks beautiful. It’s been so long since i’ve been in Vegas but this makes me want to visit again.
There is so much to see in Vegas. I’ve been to many of these stores. I was there about a year ago I need to return for a fun weekend. Thanks for the reminder LOL
The canal boutique shops and gelato were two of my favorite things about Vegas when we were there two years ago. We stayed at the Venetian and it was a wonderful experience. Your photos are beautiful.
Thank you Sarah. I loved every part of #VegasBaby and can’t wait to go again.
LOL – you had a me at lobster and gondola rides! I say let’s go – it looks like an amazing trip and who doesn’t like Vegas?
Right. #VegasBaby
That gondola ride especially looks fantastical! Looks like you had a blast!
We had a blast there is no way not too! #Vegasbaby
The Lobster Me food sounds amazing! I’d totally go for those tacos 🙂
It is good food without the traditional restaurant setting. Not what you would think to find in a #Foodcourt setting. #VegasBaby
This place looks so tempting to visit. From the atmosphere to the food.
That is what Vegas is all about. Over the top food. Gambling and entertainment.
