I was fortunate to have stayed as a guest of the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach , as a member of the TMS Family Travel Conference. As a luxury destination seeker, this post is based on my experience.

When someone stated that’ a picture is worth a thousand words’ they did not know the video would take over pictures and simply glorify showmanship.
Here is a video I took within minutes of arrival.
The Room
The room is well appointed with everything from a lovely King Size bed to a full closet, and an additional sofa that could be used for a 3rd person.
Whimsical decor pieces add to luxury detail, like the pillow accent on the bed, pulling more coastal color into the room.
You will find a safe, an iron, robes and more in your closet.
A coffee maker, with coffee and tea, and underneath in the cabinets a refrigerator.
The bathroom is perfection after a day on the beach, in meetings or when you just need to retreat.
The Lobby
The lobby is very cheery, with comfortable seating for all.
Impressive is the grand-size area that shades you from the elements.

POOLSIDE
The pool is a bit small in size as to what I have come to expect from resort-like locations, but most importantly there is a pool.
Towels are available with your room and a special key pass they provide. If you fail to return them the charge is $45.
LOCATION IS LAVISH
Location is everything when you travel and the Wyndham Grand Hotel is in center of all the action. You are steps away from Pier 60, beach front, everything is walkable, and there is great shopping ( I heart WINGS). You are nearby a Walgreen’s, great ice cream stops and so much more. The Clearwater Aquarium is less than a ten-minute walk as well. Finally, the Tampa airport is about 20 minutes away without the famous Clearwater traffic.
Lavishly live travel out loud and unwind at this premier beachfront hotel in Clearwater Beach. Book ahead, because they are very busy and often sold out. I was advised upon my check-in that my room was not ready, but a couple next to me did happen to check in exactly at the same time and their room was ready.
