When you saw “Aladdin” and “The Princess Frog” were you just waiting for more adventures and animated comedy adventures like them? I love when you can get lost in an adventure, lose a bit of time and then still connect with the film years later when you see it again, and those are 2 classic movies as far as I am concerned.
Maybe I show a bit more affection to “Aladdin” as my son and daughter really watched the movie so much that I knew every line or that they sang all the songs? Whatever it is, I am ready to lavishly live Walt Disney Animation Studios out loud with MOANA. What I know about all DISNEY Movies is that they are family friendly and entrance you to watch them over and over and in reality you will always notice more than you did the first watch!
I am eagerly awaiting this particular adventure as I have adventurous teens who are always wanting to prove themselves, and I can not wait to share the movie with them and I know there will be a solid story that we will easily be able to discuss long after we have watched the movie.
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder.
Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016
