Oh for the love of pizza! This post is dedicated to all those that love their pizza and create it at home! When I figured out the best way to make Margherita pizza at home, I was thrilled. Trust me, this can not be any easier and the taste is incredible.
What I love most about fresh pizza is that it is piping hot when I serve it. No box, no transporting just air fryer to plate! There’s a catch though, after trial and error I will tell you I have perfected how to create a pizza in my air fryer.
Get your Margherita pizza ingredients together and let’s cook. Bookmark this recipe for Air Fryer Single Serve Margherita Pizza with Fresh Basil as I am sure you will make it over and over!
Air Fryer Single Serve Margherita Pizza with Fresh Basil
Getting to the brass tacks of things, I have to say, it’s hard to create a good Margherita pizza, but when you have the right tools of the trade, it’s super easy! What I have discovered is that air frying offers a special kind of magic on a Margherita Pizza, that makes it light, and crispy.
Light and crispy let’s you enjoy the flavor of the tomato and spices rather than just crust!
As usual, I suggest a shopping trip right before preparing these pizzas, so that you can have the freshest ingredients possible. Further, I realize that every air fryer is not round, but you can cut your shell to fit.
My recipe is a springboard and shares the small idea that you can make pizza in the air fryer. Because of the weight of the shell it does not fly up, unlike other items I have tried.
You will need a rather large, flexible spatula to remove the pizza when it is done cooking, you don’t want to flip it or you will lose your toppings or worse yet, it will go upside down.
Single Serve Margherita Pizza
I am not going to bore you with all the details that you have seen in the movie, because this recipe is not rocket science. The KEY Piece to this whole pizza is putting it together IN the air fryer basket, not assembling before!
