Sweet, seductive summer is on its way. It’s the point in time where we can say that we hopped through Spring and now are ready to dive into summer. Birds are chirping, outdoor kitchen concepts are being used to their fullest potential with BBQs, and then there are those beautifully brewed pitchers of iced tea.
Simple compilations of outdoor gatherings seem to keep the season sunny and bright. Night time often ushers in cool summer breezes and of course, this is accompanied by the warmth of fire pits.
With every sentence spoken and all the laughter heard, parched throats are at the party too. My perfect brew of Mango Iced Tea is a favorite and served at every gathering. Fresh fruits come together to kick up the flavor pitchers of freshly brewed tea. Are you ready to sip on summer with Mango Iced tea? Lavishly live outdoor parties and summer out loud!
Mango Iced Tea
Part of serving up iced tea is the presentation. Do think about the pretty glasses that you can purchase. These are some of my favorite glasses. There’s also deep southern glass to consider as well!
Now how do you make the iced tea? First make sure you either frozen mango in the freezer or have a very ripe mango on your counter. That is the key ingredient to getting a good taste. This recipe is not about adding in a ton of sugar, because the taste of sweet mango will do a lot for the flavoring!
Your head is looking up at a blue summer sky with cotton candy clouds. The kids are taking a dip in clear, cool water, while someone is napping in a hammock. Grilling and chilling is the patio concept, and flowers sway in the summer breeze.
Across the patio, you smell a sweet wafting flavor, one you cannot yet place. Summer induced happiness is visiting your nose and you just have to place it, and that’s when you find it. Mango Iced Tea. The smell of sweet pureed mango, lightly drizzled with lemon, combined with freshly brewed iced tea is beckoning your tall southern glass.
As you pour Mango Iced Tea into it you can see that the brewed tea has been mastered and you want the recipe to recreate. Your summer wish is granted. Mango iced tea is sweet, yet light and so delicious for parties.

Best Tips For Brewing Tea
I always heat my water on the stove, not the microwave. Every microwave offers different outputs of heat, and you never can be sure where your temperature is, short of using a thermometer (there goes easy brewing).
Keep your tea selection simple. You don’t need the world’s most expensive tea to make a good tea, truth be told.
After you brew your tea and have allowed the bags to steep, do not refrigerate it for one hour more. Let the tea continue to sit and ‘brew’ sins bags.
Last, but not least, do not BOIL the water. I never have and I never will. I find that getting the water very warm, close to boiling is best. I don’t need the boiling, I just need the warmth.
Remember, this is what works for me, in Casa Vento, you may have other ways you prefer to brew so do it!
Summer days are bright so we party at night, creating kinship and tradition. While the tans will fade the memories of summer gatherings will last forever. So cheers to summer with Mango Iced Tea.
