Equipment Needed To Make Smoke-Flavored Patriotic Colored Deviled Eggs
For this recipe, there is an optional piece of cookware you can use or don’t have to.
What I have found through using this cookware (Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker) is that my eggs turn out perfect no matter what.

Ingredients For Your Red White Blue Smoky Deviled Eggs
- Easy To Make Hard-Boiled Eggs
- Red Coloring (this is the easiest to work with red and blue coloring! )
- Blue Coloring
- Mayonaise
- Mustard
- Relish
- Smoked Paprika (this is my favorite smoked paprika and the only one I use! )
- Smoke Sauce
Again, I need to reiterate the color you choose really can make coloring deviled eggs (the yolks ) pleasurable or sheer madness.

Since I love my gel food coloring by this brand as it does not change the consistency, flavor, or texture and it does not require vinegar or mixing, it is just ready to color on command!
As for the smoked paprika, the brand I use is unparalleled and consistent any time I have purchased more.
How To Make Red White Blue Smoky Deviled Eggs

These are my step-by-step directions and the longest part of the prep is waiting for the pressure cooker to build the pressure to steam the eggs!
What I love is that I can get all the other items in each step set up and do other things while the eggs are steaming!
Step 1: How To Make Hard-Boiled Eggs Turn Into Patriotic Eggs
Use my recipe for how to pressure cook your hard-boiled eggs, follow the instructions, and when they are cooled you can then continue on in the recipe.

Step 2: Prepping The Creamy Portion of the Smoked Stuffed Eggs In Patriotic Colors
In 2 medium-sized bowls, add the mayonnaise, mustard, and relish.
Then add the smoked paprika as well as the smoke sauce.
Set this aside.
Step 3: Coloring Deviled Eggs With Red And Blue
After you have peeled your eggs and rinsed them, slice the eggs length-wise.
Remove the yolks and divide them evenly between your 2 medium-sized bowls.
1 will become the blue-colored deviled eggs and the other will be red.

Once you’ve separated the cooked yolks, it is now time to color them
In one of the bowls that you have prepared with the creamy mixture, add your egg yolks and smash them into the creamy mixture to combine.

Then add in your blue food color until you achieve your favorite shade of blue.
Do the same thing with the second prepared bowl and color it red.

Next, you will use a pastry bag or a plastic zippered bag, and fill 2 up one with red and one with blue.
Plae your eggs on their serving tray and fill each cavity with red and blue.

Once you’ve filled all the cavities with the smoked stuffed egg yolk, go ahead and sprinkle with more smoked paprika. then serve.
