Please note that what we have in our pantry may differ from yours, but you can substitute the same ingredients and still have a fabulous batch of pantry cleanout cookies!
- sugar-free peanut butter
- unsalted butter, room temperature
- real maple syrup
- vanilla extract
- dark unsweetened cocoa powder
- salt
- quick cook oats
In Other words, you can use everyday peanut butter, regular salted butter (cut the salt then), maple syrup of any type, you get the idea!
How To Make Easy Pantry Cleanout Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
There’s not a lot to this simple process for making no-bake cookie dough!
Step 1: Prep A Baking Sheet
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat™ baking sheet and set it aside.
Step 2: Ingredients Go Into A Microwave Safe Bowl
Add peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a microwave-safe bowl.
Cover and place in microwave for 1 minute at 50% power.
Remove from microwave and stir vigorously until smooth.
Step 3: Chocolate And Peanut Butter Mix It Up
Add dark cocoa powder and salt to the peanut butter mixture and stir to combine.
Next, add the oats, one-half cup at a time, and stir until the oats are completely coated.
Step 4: Drop The Cookies On The Tray
Add rounded tablespoons of peanut butter oatmeal mixture to the prepared baking sheet.
Then, set the tray in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Once Set, Remove from the freezer and serve immediately.
Store the remaining cookies in the refrigerator until ready to serve, or the cookies will lose their shape.

- 6 T. unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 c. real maple syrup
- 1 t. real vanilla extract
- 2 T. dark unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 t. salt
- 1½ c. quick cook oats
