Do you dine out during the week? We were out at Max & Erma’s just a few weeks back and I totally forgot I had written about this way back, but we were the recipients of free cookies for dessert! We had our choice between a few different kinds and it was the perfect way to end a great meal. I am not a walking, talking, advertising billboard for Max & Erma’s but I will tell you if you are looking for a good meal, or bar drink this just might be the place. We dine there often with our kids as our kids have allergies and this is one of our mainstays. One of our kids eats gluten-free while the other eats nut free, and latex free. Nonetheless, Adventure. Eat. DIY. Repeat. and enjoying some great food is easily achieved here and you will love the little bags the cookies come in.
Did you know that every Wednesday Max & Erma’s Restaurants across the nation offer Free Cookie Wednesday? Each guest that purchases an entree on a Wednesday receives 2 free, fresh-baked cookies, because one is never enough! Your meal will be complete when you sink your teeth into the chocolate chunk filled, perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies.
I am a salad girl, and I love the salads (shrimp)that are freshly crafted upon my order. The plates are large and the bread stick that comes with my salad is usually stolen by one of the kids before I ever see it. As I alluded to before, we choose to eat at Max & Erma’s because they are free of latex, and make sure that our son has no traces of seafood or nut in his food. The manager has even gone as far as to remind us when they handed us the cookies that our son could not eat them because they may contain nut products. Max & Erma’s prepares him a fabulous steak and buttered noodles.
We are so frequently challenged as to where we can actually eat with his large list of allergies that it has been hard to traverse out and dine because of his limitations and because restaurants can not accommodate us or work around his numerous allergens. I can tell you that we have travel between 2 different Max & Erma’s in our local area and each has accommodated, and checked-in while we were dining and after to make sure that he was fine and the Managers personally were accountable for his food! We could not be happier that our son who has latex, seafood and numerous other food allergies can actually eat here! This is good news for other parents in the same situation! Ask your Max & Erma Manager if they can help you.
No matter your dining preference, meat, vegetarian or allergen free, there are delicious salads, yummy burgers and great chicken dishes, you are sure to find something to please the palate! Free Cookie Wednesdays make the fun continue even more with Max & Erma’s and I just wanted to make sure that I shared my love of food, and a great free cookie that might help you fill that sweet tooth! Lavishly live life out loud and leisurely dine.
