This Recipe Is Not For A Swirled Cinnamon Bread Loaf
This incredible-tasting cinnamon bread does NOT have a cinnamon bread swirl inside.

Here’s Why It Is Not Swirled But It’s Even Better!
- The tasty cinnamon bread we are making is one-stop prepped and baked in your bread machine.
- Meaning from the time you add all the ingredients to the bread machine to make the cinnamon bread, you won’t open it again until it is baked, therefore you can not roll in the swirl.
- In order to make that swirl you see in cinnamon bread in the stores or bakeries, you need to actually roll that in there and we are not doing that but I promise you the flavor will knock your socks off with the explosion of cinnamon that is well-balanced and yet amazing!
- However, the beauty of this recipe is that once you learn how easy it is to make the dough, you could turn this into a swirled loaf of cinnamon bread, by stopping after the dough has been created and has risen in the bread machine

How Much Time Does It Take To Make The Easy Bread Machine Cinnamon Bread Recipe?
You won’t believe the short time spent making this bread until you do it yourself.

The reality of time involved is 10 minutes of actionable time, but the overall time where the cinnamon-flavored bread is being made in the bread machine and then cooled turns out to be about 4 hours and 55 minutes.
Popular Substitutions and Tips
After making this bread more times than I care to admit, I have learned a few things and I will offer those tips and ideas right here to help you.

- This easy bread with the cinnamon recipe is easy to make for any day of the week, just make sure you are HOME to remove the bread immediately from the bread machine.
- You can use Whole Wheat White Flour in this mixture and create delicious loaves of bread laced with cinnamon.
- The key to the icing is allowing the bread to cool enough that the icing won’t melt when placed atop.
- Alternatively, you can ice the bread just before serving.
- For holidays I add food coloring to the icing to match the decor (such as Christmas Red Icing, Thanksgiving Orange, Valentines Red, 4th of July Red, and Blue) you get the idea.
- Add raisins or blueberries for a great new flavor
- Measure your powdered sugar to get an accurately balanced icing.
My Personal Failure Led To Perfecting Cinnamon Breadmaking
I learned early on from my grandmother that store-bought bread never comes near the taste of freshly baked bread, I took her lead.
Many times, my loaves flopped, but then I learned how to use yeast!
As a self-taught chef, and a former deli by day, Italian restaurant by reservation only owner, I began baking bread for every table.
Naturally, I then moved into yeasted cinnamon sweet bread and well this is the story of my cinnamon bread, which was a number one seller in my store!
Unlike my failed attempts at making bread, the bread machine and this recipe are simple and won’t be defeatist!
Cinnamon Bread In Bread Machine FAQs

Yes. You can add the cinnamon swirl, but it will no longer be just 10 minutes of actionable time, nor will it be baked inside your bread machine as you will be taking it out and adding in the swirl before the second rise and then placing it in a bread loaf pan to rise and then bake, so it is not truly cinnamon bread in the bread machine.
